wen1wen Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how wen1wen ("wen1wen," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information about users ("you," "Player") of the wen1wen online gaming platform accessible at wen1wen.net. This Policy is issued in compliance with Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Philippines ("DPA"), and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

By registering an account or using the wen1wen platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described herein. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not use the wen1wen platform.

1. Who We Are

wen1wen is the operator of the online gaming platform at wen1wen.net, serving players in the Philippines. For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act, wen1wen acts as the Personal Information Controller (PIC) in respect of the personal data it collects from players and visitors to the platform.

wen1wen collects the following categories of personal data:

• Financial Data: GCash account details, Maya account details, bank account numbers, transaction history, deposit and withdrawal records. We do not store full debit card numbers on our servers.
• Gaming Activity Data: Game history, wager amounts, win/loss records, session durations, bonus usage, and responsible gaming tool settings.
• Technical Data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and version, time zone, and platform access logs collected automatically when you use the wen1wen platform.

• Payment Processors: GCash, Maya, and Philippine banking partners, to process deposits and withdrawals.

Where personal data is transferred outside the Philippines — for example, to cloud infrastructure providers or game software vendors — wen1wen ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place, including contractual clauses approved by the National Privacy Commission or equivalent data protection standards, to protect your data to a standard equivalent to that required under Philippine law.

7. Data Security

wen1wen implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, destruction, or disclosure. These measures include:

• TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmitted between your device and the wen1wen platform;
• Encryption of sensitive data at rest, including financial records and identity documents;
• Role-based access controls limiting staff access to personal data on a strict need-to-know basis;
• Regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments;
• Incident response procedures for detecting, reporting, and managing personal data breaches in accordance with NPC notification requirements.

While wen1wen takes all reasonable steps to protect your data, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wen1wen account credentials.

8. Data Retention

wen1wen retains your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a period thereafter as required by law or legitimate business purposes. Specifically:

• Account and transaction records are retained for a minimum of five (5) years following account closure, in compliance with AMLA requirements;
• KYC documents are retained for the duration of the account relationship and for five (5) years thereafter;
• Customer support communications are retained for three (3) years;
• Marketing consent records are retained for the duration of the consent and for two (2) years after withdrawal of consent.

Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with wen1wen's data disposal procedures.

9. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

wen1wen uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and session tokens) on the platform. These are used for:

• Essential Cookies: Required for the platform to function, including session management, login authentication, and security features. These cannot be disabled without affecting platform functionality.
• Analytics Cookies: Used to collect aggregate, anonymized data about how players use the platform, helping us identify areas for improvement. These are only set with your consent.

11. Children's Privacy

The wen1wen platform is strictly for persons aged 21 years and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 21 years of age. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a person under 21, we will take immediate steps to delete that data and close the associated account. If you believe a minor has registered on the wen1wen platform, please contact us immediately.

12. Changes to This Policy

wen1wen reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data practices, legal obligations, or platform features. Material changes will be communicated to registered players via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least seven (7) days before taking effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy will always reflect the most recent revision.

Your continued use of the wen1wen platform following the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
